Petar Majstorovic transferring to Long Beach St

To keep guys like him, you have to play your bench consistently. That was one of Autry's biggest failings last year, IMO.
I think we played too many guys, frankly. You need to develop consistency. I don’t want JB’s old 6-7 man rotation, but I’d rather have 8, maybe 9, key guys. That’s ideal. Ultimately, though, we just need better players.

When guys are letting the opponent dribble right by them and straight to the rim, then I think that guy needs to sit down. And almost every guy on the team last year was guilty of that, so I don't see how you reward guys who don't play defense by NOT taking them out.

Yep, when it costs them playing time, it tends to become more of a priority.

what the final curtain ?

guess no encore from the MAESTRO.

where’s he going honestly? Definitely downgrading conferences.

Of course, but you only need 8 really good players to do that. A guard, forward and center sub. JB pulled guys all the time for poor defense and only played 7-8 max.

Red was horrible at substitutions last year. The worst I have ever seen. I could never figure out what the heck he was thinking or trying to accomplish.
Honestly Red was horrific at almost all aspects of coaching last year. I can’t think of a single positive he brings to the program as HC. Just don’t think he has a clue how to lead our program with all the headwinds were currently facing

Agree, but that was not a bar that required a great vertical to clear.

Which speaks to how bad the coaching staff is. Petar actually came in with fundamentals.
