Peyton's legacy

I love how football is tabbed the ultimate team sport, with scheme and strategy discussed more than in any other sport, yet QB's are labeled with wins and losses as if it were tennis.

Will Peyton's lack of playoff success tarnish his legacy? Yes.

Should Peyton's lack of playoff success tarnish his legacy? No.

Certainly winning has to be part of the equation to an extent, doesn't it? If we're comparing offensive linemen from different teams, obviously it would be absurd to heavily weight team success. But QB play has an extraordinarily strong effect on whether a team wins or loses.

The playoffs are too small a sample size.
