Benny is our 4 this year. We need a SF if we get anyone in the portal.Absolutely, he could start at the 4 and backup the 5.

Put Benny at the 3, play Hatfield at the 4 for a year give him 30 mins a game. Dudes a physical specimen
Yeah, being full at the inn is proving to be problematic. A 6 player freshman class should be a no no in the Portal Era.Hunter-Hatfield was a player I was big on last time around. Was disappointed that we did not get him but he went to the in-state school and fizzled. We were in his top 3-5 last time. He would be the prototypical power forward for Syracuse with size, weight and presumed skills. It seems like we are full at the inn. Oh well, what could have been didn’t happened. Moving on.
Playing the 4 vs the 3 makes zero difference in JB's zone. On offense, given the type of offenses we run, it only matters based on who you draw as a defender. Benny "should" be able to take most/some traditional 4s off the dribble.Benny at the 4 is such a big mistake. He got man handled when he replaced Jimmy.
Gotta get players somewhere. If you like a highschool player and get an NLI, gotta take that. Who knows what the portal may or may not yield.Yeah, being full at the inn is proving to be problematic. A 6 player freshman class should be a no no in the Portal Era.
It does and it doesnt...When Jim put him in for Jimmy he really struggled at the 4, outside of the Duke game. Manek basically threw him out of the way every play, during the UNC game. If you have a player thats physically built like Huntley Hatfield it opens up alot for Benny at the 3 offensivly and rebounding. It also allows Benny to do his Elijah Hughes esque blocks at the rim.Playing the 4 vs the 3 makes zero difference in JB's zone. Playing 4 vs 3 is pretty much irrelevant in JB's systems, IMO.
Benny is not a 4 if anyone it’s bunchBenny is our 4 this year. We need a SF if we get anyone in the portal.
um whatBenny is not a 4 if anyone it’s bunch
Benny is going to be the 4 and Taylor/Bunch combo will be the 3 with the current roster. That is what JB is going to do.It does and it doesnt...When Jim put him in for Jimmy he really struggled at the 4, outside of the Duke game. He looks the part, but he has no game.Put Benny at the 3, play Hatfield at the 4 for a year give him 30 mins a game. Dudes a physical specimen
He was also only a freshman, that could change. He’s not all that physically different than Cj Fair. Thats how I project himBenny at the 4 is such a big mistake. He got man handled when he replaced Jimmy.

Yeah with the rumored demands we prolly won’t sniff him but the past relationship, and open minutes at the stretch 4-5 are there…

Maybe Seton Hall’s for him then.
Not trueHe looks the part, but he has no game.
