Valencia committed to Wichita State
We got beat out by Wichita State??!!
Valencia committed to Wichita State
Amazing athlete, no doubt but there are better options out there. Valencia seems like a hit or miss guy…that being said, I would have loved picking him up. Let’s hope we get a better option
ShockerWe got beat out by Wichita State??!!
I see what did you there lol.Shocker
People saying Fire Autry because we missed out on Deng and Valencia….relax…Deng was probably out of the picture for the past few weeks, Valencia is uber athletic but is going to be hit or miss. We’ve been linked to similar (or better) options for that bench wing role
Who said that?People saying Fire Autry because we missed out on Deng and Valencia….relax…Deng was probably out of the picture for the past few weeks, Valencia is uber athletic but is going to be hit or miss. We’ve been linked to similar (or better) options for that bench wing role
I’m seeing it all over Twitter, basically Syracuse fan accountsWho said that?
Its just crazy that two guys (one who was probably already out on Syracuse and one who is a mid major guy averaging less than 10ppg) causes that. Bryce Zephir commits and it’s the same thing. You're new here.
"Fire Autry" is everyone's default setting.
No offense but your personalized following and targeted algorithm isn’t “all over” I haven’t seen a single comment of that liking on here, x, or InstagramI’m seeing it all over Twitter, basically Syracuse fan accounts
Yeah, Twitter randos — probably not a good foundation for an argument here. Standards here aren't as high as they should be, but they aren't 'twitter low.'I’m seeing it all over Twitter, basically Syracuse fan accounts
It's a feature, not a bug."Fire Autry" is everyone's default setting.
If we had some recent success it would be an easier sell. That said it’s not difficult to see that we likely have a logjam at the forward spot. The thing is, and I'm not trying to bemoan not getting Deng or Valencia per se, maybe this is another of Red's shortcomings-
That is, selling these kids who think they should start on coming in and competing and worst case being valuable off the bench. Seems like many of the more successful current coaches can do that. But maybe that's a byproduct of mucho NIL. Or maybe that comes with proven success and being in the tourney...

Not sure about that “logjam”. Freeman, White, Kingz and several 2/3 types. Could use another bigger shooter. If we had some recent success it would be an easier sell. That said it’s not difficult to see that we likely have a logjam at the forward spot.
Leffew did last year.Players don’t go into the portal to sit and not start. They have options and can determine where they want to go.
Leffew played 25+ minutes in every game but like two, and 30+ in multiple games. Let’s not act like he was just “sitting on the bench” he was a definitely an important piece to their team.his 25 minutes a game, were 5th on the team, 6th being at 19 minute a game(4th in minutes played .2 minutes a game more as well) so just because he didn’t start, didn’t mean he wasn’t essentially a starter.Leffew did last year.
Specifically took more money to sit on the bench.
It's the money.
