Kid has a lot of potential. Would not be surprised with a commit.
These are the kids that help the versatility of a roster. Like it.
Athletes athletes athletes. This team might block more shots in the first five games then it did all of last season.

If you think back to Jim's early years, Eddie Moss, Rosie, Santifer, Red Bruin, a lot of good athletes, Orr, Addison, DC , Rony, Stevie, Dave Johnson. Then he let them play and get better.Athletes who can do more than one thing though as well. That’s the even bigger key.

Isn’t King Rice still the coach at Monmouth?
They should be a unitKyle, Sadiq, Donnie, Souare and Valencia makes for ample guys who like to live above the rim.
I think you’re right… I can’t say I agree, but having a whole bunch of bouncy 6’9 guys could work.SU is linked to multiple combo forwards and no centers. That tells me Mr Freeman might see some real minutes as the biggest guy on the floor.
it could definitely workI think you’re right… I can’t say I agree, but having a whole bunch of bouncy 6’9 guys could work.
I started thinking about that this morning… Lampkin led us with 16 blocks last season in about 1000 minutes. Kyle got more blocks in about 1/3 the minutes, Souare got more in half the minutes. Even Kingz and George would have been contenders to lead the team in blocks. With Freeman, White and whoever the last transfer is, we’re likely to have a team filled with lengthy athletes who can block shots.Athletes athletes athletes. The best Syracuse defenses always had a center who’s primary skill was blocking shots, and then long versatile forwards who also were decent at blocking shots. We were often near the lead in blocks as a team along major conference teams. In fact, all four teams from 2010-2013 blocked more shots per game than the NCAA leader this year, who averaged only 6.2Which means even more importantly you force teams to think twice in how they attack the rim and force turnovers on shots or drives that are adjusted to avoid the shot blocker.
Simple but effective plus guys that can erase mistakes.

That's why I mentioned Jim's early teams, people think all we ever played was the 2/3 zone. The early teams got up and down and sometimes in your face. Especially when Rony and DC were together.Bingo. We also had guys who played above the rim making to take advantage of the pg play.
George likes the pick and roll along with finding guys with the lob. Valencia would be an another guy who makes life easier for our new PG.
The more I see things coming together the more it reminds me of older Cuse teams. Have smart talented guys to run the point, a few shooters and outright scorers, and elite talent at pf or sf and a bunch of athletes who defend, run the floor and play above the rim. With this you can run more simple action on offense and let whoever is running the point have more autonomy possession to possession. Then on defense you have more guys playing end to end and cleaning up some of the mistakes.
Would be an interesting get. I would be happy with it as he would have multiple years and he’s extremely athletic. Still pretty raw with a lot of potential.
Interesting because Jaret and Sadiq are basically the same player lol. Both extremely athletic and both have similar skill sets at the point. Hard to pass up on a kid that’s 6’10 and this kind of athlete and potential though, that has multiple years left

Offensively I don’t think there will be much difference between the two positions. Freeman will be involved in a ton of pick and rolls no matter his position.I think White will see some time. I think Freeman is going to be more of a pure forward. I don't think he wants to be stuck at center.
