Class of 2022 PF Jerald Colonel (GA) Portal from SFAustin

What makes you think that did you talk to him? Please give some inside information
He owes you nothing. He owes everyone here nothing. Believe him or don't. I don't care.

But knock off the WHO ARE YOUR SOURCES or GIVE US MORE. Again, you are owed nothing.

Put him on ignore if it bothers you so much. Or don't read the thread.

This isn't the first time we have had this little talk. Trust me - it WILL be the last.

Personally think he’d be a good pick up. If Gerry is really leaning into a defensive identity, this is a guy you’d start with. Hes from the south however and our chances are probably a little less than what you’d like them to be.

These threads are becoming unreadable. It’s a bunch of bickering back and forth.

Yeah man it's like

As an example, I don’t have any inside information so I don’t post very much. Over 15 years I post once every 4 days on average. Some of you newer posters should stick to that schedule.
Got me curious.. Once every 5.5 days over 12.5 years for me. Plus probably over a year of lurking before. Time flies!

I'd feel better about landing a guy like this -- a rim protector / pogo stick who doesn't offer much offense -- if we had a clear-cut starting caliber center.

I actually think that Goodrick might surprise, but I need to see that first to be comfortable with that. And I think that Siby might contribute in a reserve capacity, with his offense being behind at this stage.

So... doesn't that sound just like Colonel? Why would we need both?

Maybe this guy is a backup 4 not a Center prospect.

Build a team that can defend always and work on making the offense work. You'll always be in games to start even if shooting is off.

If you'd want another year of Kyle on this team a guy like Colonel makes perfect sense. Big guards defending up top with rim protectors that rebound behind them is a winning formula. Elite post scorers just aren't readily available but +/- guys are.

Yep. I say this as a guy who thinks Colonel would be a perfect piece to fit what we are building defensively... he feels redundant and not someone we should buy unless Sidby is just a deep bench/ 3rd center type guy. Which I have an educated guess he's not.

Sure... but we already have a guy who sounds a lot like this. Not sure we need two, when we still might need a starting-caliber pivot.

There's only so much room at the inn, and so much NIL $$$ available. Plus, we don't need four centers.
