It's just like in Blue Chips. Not even kidding.Must be interesting to be sitting next to all the other coaches who are most likely looking at the same recruits you are after. I wonder what the "small talk" are like.

Where's a good place in Syracuse for screen repair?Yeaaaaa
And JB is sitting next to an Auburn asshat
That is impressive. Especially the face he makes.Yeaaaaa
I yelled at Marek for putting up a weak layup instead of trying to do this no less than 100 times during his time here
Very rare these days. Refreshing.Chasing his own rebound for nothing
Very true, got like that. The more I watch, the more I like.Very rare these days. Refreshing.
From the NewYorkGauchos.org..."He was a playground phenomenon from Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn, and was the number 1 overall ranked high school player in 1983. He brought his flashy play to Syracuse University and the Carrier Dome."
Also..."Washington was rated No. 1 in the country for the high school class of 1983, according to HoopScoop. He was ranked higher than players such as Kenny Smith and Reggie Miller. Washington wound up staying in his home state and player for Syracuse University."
That was written in the past tense. They were writing after the fact. He wasn't at the actual time. Blue Ribbon was around at the time and I actually talked to Chris Wallace their publisher. He thought Pearl should go straight to the Globetrotters. He didn't have him #1 nor did Street and Smith. I don't know if you were around then, I was. I loved him. But he wasn't #1 at the time. As for the two sites you sited, The gauchos were a great AAU team but I have never heard of NewYorkGauchos.org as a recruiting site to rely on and I would be stunned if hoop scoop had him anywhere near #1 because they were very biased towards mid west kids. If they did, wonderful. But the sites of the day were Street and Smiths and to a lesser extent, although better for the real fan, Blue Ribbon. Just as Flipowski isn't #1. Right Orange79?From the NewYorkGauchos.org..."He was a playground phenomenon from Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn, and was the number 1 overall ranked high school player in 1983. I see UNC landed Jalen Washington today. Be great to Duke land someone besides Flip too..
Do these recruiting sites have something against Syracuse and/or JB? They seem to do this a lot when we are clearly heavily involved with a player. Flip took 5 visits and they asked him about 4 of those teams. Just really weird and the writer is either incompetent or unprofessional.Writer didn’t even ask Flip about SU.
