Not good?
Yeah. Syracuse.com had some gradesLittle bit of both.. some worse than others. You know how it goes.
Just got done reading the article you’re referring to a few minutes ago. Seems like Duce is much better this season. Seems more in shape as well. Having Chris peal be good against Tennessee helped as well.Yeah. Syracuse.com had some grades
Some ok, others clearly well below
Thanks youThe full grades for all players are listed in here. All players over 20 snaps for both O and D![]()
Why is Fran Brown encouraged by Demetres Samuel after Tennessee loss? (PFF grades/snap counts)
The Orange suffered a 17-point lost in its season opener, and Pro Football Focus makes it easy to see why.www.syracuse.com

David O needs to play more. He definitely played a decent amount but needs to way more. He got pressure and had 6 tackles. Little surprised at Weatherspoon being the highest I thought he was pretty good but I was assuming Mack would have been. Not surprised by cook and Willis being high up. Thanks! We'll see if this is allowed or not, lol.

Did they list him twice for his play both at DT and DE? If so do we know which is which? If I'm Jobity, I take the 62 over the 46.
Their two corners were really good. Tall, fast and very physical. Certainly could have been penalized for some more PI’s while grabbing our WR while the ball was coming in. One of those corners was a true freshman as well. That is a hard matchup for Gill especially considering we had very little time to throw the ball.Surprised that Gill and JRS played so poorly.
Disappointing start for Samuels, hopefully he makes the adjustments needed.
No doubt it's the best defense we will face, just surprised they both ended up in the 40s.Their two corners were really good. Tall, fast and very physical. Could be but Clemson, ND and Miami probably all have a shot for that as well.No doubt it's the best defense we will face, just surprised they both ended up in the 40s.
I honestly felt like we torched their corners. Not on deep balls but they struggled covering our guys underneath on crossing patterns.Their two corners were really good. Tall, fast and very physical. Underrated observation, upon rewatch I saw the same.I honestly felt like we torched their corners. Not on deep balls but they struggled covering our guys underneath on crossing patterns.
I certainly don't think we "torched" them. We beat them occasionally and considering how little time Angeli had that wasn't bad. But that is because we have pretty good WR's. I think Tennesee's Corners were solid. Then again i haven't watched the second half on a rewatch yet.I honestly felt like we torched their corners. Not on deep balls but they struggled covering our guys underneath on crossing patterns.
