Also gonna throw it out there. I have no clue if the Mingo’s are actually coming here. But the staff has probably known for a bit that Dylan was going to decommit. Brunt has a great relationship with the Mingo’s I’m sure he’s allll over this. Kiyan went to high school with them and I know he stays in touch with them and they are all friends. Not saying he’s going too but these are the types of kids that Melo will Pony up some money for to get them to come to Cuse. Once again I do not know if they are coming here but 10000% expect us to be heavily involved

Seriously why do people keep saying the brothers are a package deal? Were they quoted saying that? I don't recall seeing that anywhere. I remember someone saying it would be cool to bring in both brothers like 2 weeks ago when rumors were flying around but that's it. If there is an article quoting they are a package please post.

No one said for sure package deal or not all just hypotheticals at this point

Think it's just a consideration because (1) they're both uncommitted and (2) Dylan was heavily considering Penn State to play with his brother and then there was buzz his brother might transfer to UNC to play with him.

Ohhh wowww. If SU can land one or both of the Mingos, this year's team is going to become really interesting. Maybe a center and a pf away from being a force in the ACC. I've watched both Dylan and Kayden both play, quite a bit actually. These guys are gamers --and-- they pair perfectly with Kiyan & Co. I'm not going to allow myself to wish for this just yet as I'm just hearing about all this thanks to the posts.

I would think this was more of a UNC call than anything. Malone has cleared out the whole back court I think. Prob gonna snag an experienced big fish in the portal.

I don’t see him here mainly because gmac is building a defensive identity and an efficient offense that takes care of the ball. Not sure how that fits with a true freshman at PG even if he is 6’5.

Call me crazy but I would rather have Cruz Davis at point guard. He’s an experienced college scorer and facilitates the offense.

Dylan is talented but I don’t want to roll with a true freshman in GMAC’s first year.

Can't see us taking both Mingos given what we already have. Let alone the NIL factor to land those 2, and a starting caliber 5, and a PF.

I'd prefer (as if that matters) to use the biggest NIL expenditure on the 5 (most expensive position to fill with quality), then the best PG and PF you can afford with what's left.

Doty, Kiyan and MMM are your first guards to play off the bench to back up the 2 or 3. Kayden can play point too. And Dual would be your back up behind Dylan and Kayden. That’s about as good a guard rotation we’ve had in a longgggg time.

Go get Folefac to back up Sadiq. Get a starting C. Does need to kill it offensively. Just get us 8ppg, 8rpg but be a rim protector. Someone like Hines. Then get another forward that can play the 4 and 5 to back up Sadiq, Folefac, someone like Hines and Goodrick. That way we have 5 players at the forward spot which will be enough if we go with a 3 guard lineup.

If we get both Mingo’s, Folefac and Hines with what we already have. Assuming the coaching is average to above average. We won’t be competing for just a tourney spot. We would be a top 4 team in the ACC

Both Mingo’s are penciled in starters. They wouldn’t come here if they weren’t starters. Tobiason is too good not to start. MMM, is going to be a freshman m, I’m sure the staff was up front with him and told him he’d get minutes but if we pull off this roster that’s too much talent ahead of him. Doty is quite literally a perfect 6 man for us. Big time energy, hustles, does everything well, instant offense and energy off the bench. He would killlll it as a 6 man. Kiyan is well Kiyan, Cuse legacy, Melos son. Melo and Kiyan have a tonnnn of respect and faith in G-Mac. G-Mac isn’t gonna pull an autry and just not play him randomly some games. Kiyan will get his minutes but Kiyans minutes are completely up to Kiyan and how hard he hits the weight room this off season and how much he works on his defense. G-Mac isn’t gonna put with horrible defense and lack of effort on defense

Yea it’s tough because those are the projected numbers for next year. I hear ya with those two being so close haha
