Not necessarily. I think its good we even went to see him the first day we're allowed to considering he's suppose to be on campus tomorrow for his visit. Shows we care and he's a priority.ya not sending more than G-mac should be a sign... He gone.
Wasn’t there an article saying that Syracuse was putting together a seminar and other things for The student athletes?I haven’t seen any media discussion of it. And there is talk about it on this board. There are threads in the b-ball board about what SU does. The Gonzaga NIL thread and the Accelerate thread in particular but there are others too.

Hometown SU is the only school getting 2 OV’s from JJ Starling - How relevant is that? Duke closing the tour of OV’s seems like they’re a lock.

Top 40 senior guard JJ Starling is another for whom I received many questions about. From the looks of it, it sure does look to be coming down to Duke and Syracuse and I don’t think anybody would really dispute that -- though Notre Dame and Stanford are among those still chasing hard.
Jon Scheyer is off to a great start with his first recruiting class and assuming playing style stays the same, Starling is a good fit for the program and the class. But he’s also a pretty good fit at Syracuse and would certainly have plenty of opportunity to get minutes as a freshman for the Orange. It is hard to rule out a team when a guy goes for a second time, and it is home. So, it is relevant that Starling will see Syracuse. If word behind the scenes is too be believed, though, they will have to make up some ground to keep him out of Durham.
On Thursday, Scheyer, Jerod Haase and Mike Brey were all in to see Starling while Syracuse had an assistant coach on hand.
it is not a sign. We are fully engaged. We want him badly. I believe he will be on campus this weekend. As I said a while ago, ND is a real player here. We may not get him, but it won't be because Jb doesn't care or was not at his practice.ya not sending more than G-mac should be a sign... He gone.

Good to know! Just looked like bad optics to me, for being heavily involved. Anyways, appreciate the info as always Dasher! Let's hope we can get the kid to sign when he's back home.it is not a sign. That last line stings.
Our Falk School has a single 3-credit course on how to open PowerPoint. So, we got that goin' for us—which is nice.My
I don't recall articles stating we are behind. I saw the article in respect to a school using NIL what appears to be out of compliance but not that other schools are much more advanced than our accelerate program.
ND sounds like a legit player here. Also, I mentioned our staff going to see him when coaches are allowed on the road again...forgot that he will be on campus this weekend. Hope he has a great visit!

True...although I can't remember specifics but I vaguely recall Zion Williamson being turned off by his UK visit.Recruits always say the trip was amazing. Wish I had a dollar for every recruit that said his visit was amazing. Never heard a kid tell a sportswriter or recruiting service his trip was just OK or disappointing.

It was a bit of The Office-based snark, but still based on what i read in the threads you directed me to. Are you personally involved in these programs? I'm not trying to insult you/anyone, but i work in advertising/marketing/design/branding, and that small bit of info about the (one) Falk course being designed to show students how to 'create a marketing deck' sounds woefully inadequate. I've interviewed and worked with a bunch of interns and new grads who have had full curricula and still didn't learn even what i would consider the foundations of these fields, so that tiny bit of intel on what Falk is doing—as i continue to repeat—doesn't give me confidence.not hardly. Why did you ask for the threads if you’re just gonna ignore them and still mock SU?
Bentley.Hopefully JB is picking up JJ tomorrow from the airport in a Rolls

"Mocking SU?" I'm mocking a small part of a small program on a web forum frequented by a small number of fans. Is that really harmful? Again, if you're the Dean—apologies. But, honestly, since i was a student there from 1985, all i have seen is pretty lame branding, and townie design. SU has so much more potential in those areas, not even considering NIL, and it bothers me to see opportunities either squandered or not even exploited. And, since when is "mocking" of something an indication that love is not involved? You were a big cog in the political discourse on the off-topic side, with pretty harsh criticism of the government at the time, and i don't think i'd take that to mean you hate the US. It's all talk, with wishes for constructive dialog, sometimes wrapped in sarcasm.
Oh, yeah—and INFLCR is still a stupid, stupid name.
Yes publicly all the comments are cookie cutter and basic. You only ever hear about “bad visits” if it’s leaked on a message board or somethingRecruits always say the trip was amazing. Wish I had a dollar for every recruit that said his visit was amazing. Never heard a kid tell a sportswriter or recruiting service his trip was just OK or disappointing.
I didn’t see mention of more than that course from those links, and i‘d love to know there is more.its more than the one course which filled quickly. But I’m not going to go through it all again. And show me which schools have more or different.
