He seemed to have some options last year, too, but didn't use them until the season was already in the toilet. He has to be willing to play guys early this season and see what guys can give him.
Maybe you're right. But to me, it looked like Red was playing a lot of guys from game one trying to find combos that worked and sometimes it seemed like he was playing guys just for the sake of making substitutions.

Red needs to accelerate his learning curve as a HC and learn how to maximize the talent he has available. I'm also hoping, now that the roster looks to be better constructed/more talented, that he holds players accountable via playing time - especially on D.

Luke Fennell shaves with a Rambo knife. He’s starting. ;)

Is he in the US now? The federal government has paused interviews for all student visas, not just Harvard, at all embassies around the world.
Adam Weitsman would be cool to have associated with the program right now!

This is not totally accurate.
"The State Department has ordered U.S. embassies to temporarily stop scheduling new student visa appointments, as the Trump administration works to expand social media screenings for applicants, the latest in a series of restrictions on international students.
Most international students apply for their visas just one to two months before their programs begin. That means the May freeze is unlikely to impact the summer surge of visa processing for July and August start dates"
I would have expected that he has his appointment schedule already, or he already had his interview.

In the current climate of unprecedented stability, what could possibly go wrong?

And he has that other thing in his favor.
