I'm not ready to go that far based on this.First impression Luke is a 4 minute guy learning D1 ball this year. True to his highlights he has that long armed 1 hand loose dribble a mile from his body. A walking turnover. Glad to have him but expect nothing in 25-26.
Yes though this is by far the best competition they have faced in their lifetime if I would have to guess. Fennell playing solid. If he was playing lights out, we would be freaking out right now lol.Hard to take much from this. Australia looks pretty overmatched. Fennell has played better than Furphy at times during this season. Not his best game.
The guy the Aussies have playing point guard has no field goals and 1 assist through 3 quarters, That tells me he isn't a point guard and shouldn't be playing ahead of Fennell.I have to say Furphy is going to be a good player for UConn immediately. Very solid, high IQ, good shooter.
For sure definitely agree Fennell should’ve been playing a lot more in this game. The guy the Aussies have playing point guard has no field goals and 1 assist through 3 quarters, That tells me he isn't a point guard and shouldn't be playing ahead of Fennell.
That's in 20 minutes, as JB used to say about players like Conrad when he got 1 rebound, a dead man could get more.
When you are supposed to be the point guard
and in 20 minutes you get 0 baskets and 1 assist you belong on the bench.
Wait is Carlos from Australia lolThe guy the Aussies have playing point guard has no field goals and 1 assist through 3 quarters, That tells me he isn't a point guard and shouldn't be playing ahead of Fennell.

If he had played instead of the nothing burger that played 20+ minutes he probably would have settled down and played better. Whoever the coach is needs to sit the starter, you can't go 0-7 with 2 assists in 20+ minutes and start on any level.All-in-all my assessment is that Fennell did fine. Showed some vision.. showed some defense. He didn’t assert himself much on offense, but he also didn’t look overwhelmed and overmatched.
I can see him being a decent reserve this year who can turn into a significant contributor in year 2.
The Sulipa kid for Aus would be a nice developmental prospect. Rugby player whos got decent size, athleticism and physical

Recruiting Update on Elite Pitt Target Roman Siulepa
PSN wanted to provide an update on Pitt basketball’s attempt to land elite prospect Roman Siulepa. Back at the beginning of May, I reported that Pitt was the top contender and would eventually land a commitment from Siulepa, the No. 1 prospect in Australia. The timeline we gave was that this...pittsburghsportsnow.com
Who knew ACC stood for Australia Coast Conference?
It works because there are more direct flights between the Bay Area airports and Australia than there are direct flights to most current ACC schools.Geographically speaking that's just as accurate as Atlantic Coast Conference at this point.
