A couple of things to keep in mind is that Fennell is a bit older than a typical freshman and has been playing against men. Granted he's playing in the Australian Penal League or whatever that league is, but its still a men's league and not high school kids.

Bit disrespectful considering this is a public board and we know recruits read this board.

My only hope is that Fennel can come in and contribute in some form. I’m not making any comparisons or predictions because it’s really a crap shoot, and the highlight films over the years that we’ve seeing of our recruits only gave us false hope.

Our best chance of improvement next season is being able to get quality and ready players to shoulder the load. We cannot expect freshmen, no matter how good they are to come in and lead the team. Melo was once in a lifetime. Also, sadly, the current staff have shown that they are not good enough to prepare/coach our freshmen to compete and it doesn’t appear that a staff change will take place.

Once again, it’s Portal/NIL $$ or bust.

I know a handful of Australians too. My last experience with them involved them drinking vodka by pouring it down one end of their sandal that they wore all day at the beach and drinking it dripping from the other end. Called it a "shoey". They'd be ok with this.

Awful defensive team, but great shooters. JB Jr was pretty good too that season.

Most of our best years we’ve had a mix of good to great shooters like Melo, Gmac, Duany, D Nich, Flynn, Rautins, Devo, Wes Johnson, Kris Jo, Triche, Waiters, Scoop, Gbinije, Cooney, Southerland, Lydon, Malachi, Tyus, Andrew White, Gillon, Elijah Hughes. Most of them were at least solid.

You saying its not funny doesn't mean it wasn't funny. A lot of peopel don't think Jummy Carr is funny. Just as many think he is. Humor, as in beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. Plus people are far to serious these days. Many Americans seem to take it upon themselves to be offended for others. It is an odd concept. Thankfully you can't yet be arrested for such comments.

It's called empathy. You can't just stand up and support things that affect you. There's no reason for punching down on marginalized groups. It's the biggest reason we are where we are as a society.
