from what i understand, can play multiple positions. Doubt a true pg would scare him away unless he’s determined to be a 1Goodine

Naturally or out of team necessity? Honest question. He’s sizeable and impressively athletic. He’s been playing PG.

Thats reassuring. Why should it stop us from bringing in competitive guard depth though? If hes this good he may be gone in a year or two. Rather replace him with a guy whos practiced in system for a season than live or die on the one and done cycle.Read jordvilles posts in Goodines recruiting thread.

Just think its an interesting discussion. Limiting recruitment to assure other players stay even though we arent necesarilly strong at the guard position after next year.
yes, i had posted it would be nice to get a PG commit, but I was thinking goodine would be more of a wing. So, if I was wrong and Goodine was recruited for PG, and told he would be the man then maybe we should be recruiting 2020 PGs instead. 2G will be crowded w Hughes and Buddy, so if we told goodine he was recruited at PG and that we would not recruit over him, then we should honor that.Don’t disagree at all. I’d bring in Adams-Woods and/or Torrence on a heart beat.
Another point on goodine playing pg right now. In HS it could be out of necessity but it’s AAU and I’m sure they have another pg or two.
He's got some decent offers... UMass, Nevada, Ga Tech or Buffalo if he wants to stay near home. Wish him the best.
surprised uconn isn't in there with so many peer competitorsTop 8. Siena in the mix with some real good basketball programs.
