To be clear, I am not advocating for Desmond over George. I think that George would be a better fit at this point with the talent we already have on board. What I am saying is that if we do add Claude or another proven scorer like him, I absolutely see the value in pairing him with JJ.

I’m guessing you don’t like the fg% numbers? Keep in mind he played 36 minutes a game. Seems like Claude or George would be upgrades from last season so there’s that and hopefully we get one. Georgia Tech went 17-17 10-10 in the ACC. They probably wouldn’t have won 10 games all year without George.

He’ll be good for a steak or two a game as well. He’s a really well rounded player.

I hope you’re right if it comes to it. I think it would be the worst defensive and shooting backcourt in the ACC.

As a lead guard, that's a crazy statement. I'd be surprised if we're even still really pursuing him with Kingz in the fold.

Huh? The two have nothing to do with each other. KINGZ is a 3. For us anyway.

Don't love that with his 4.3 AST and 3.5 TO averages.

Starling obviously needs help, he cannot be the only creator on the perimeter. We need more guards who can handle, put the ball on the floor and penetrate. Best guard available in that mold is who I would target. I like Claude. He and Starling would not be perfect but neither would George and JJ

Brother George simply isn't very good. Nothing about him excites. Claude is the better overall player by a mile imo and the offense isn't solved by adding George l

Is Naheem 100% out of eligibility? I wonder even if he is, if they are keeping him on as a grad assistant and that is why he seems to be somewhat involved still with the program. From his few interviews that he did do, definitely seems like a great guy to have around the program!

I'm not a huge fan of George he doesn't do anything particularly well. I understand you guys are obsessed with him because he led the conference in assists but I just don't think he's very good. I think Kingz was a great signing, Kyle should be good but I will be disappointed if George is the guard

I just asked a basketball person who he liked better George or Claude. He said George without a hesitation. I will take either one.

You seem to be confirming what I was wondering about. George and Claude seem to be the top two PG targets. Since others seem to be coming off the board.

I think that is quite a feat to do that at Georgia Tech. They were 12th in the conference in scoring and 13th in shooting% so with a more efficient team I could see that number go higher.
