Wow that was slick
I had to watch that about 3 times to really see all that he did there.

The old man HAS to shift philosophy. The old days of a “6-man rotation and a cloud of dust” are done.I doubt he sees himself as a fifth guard.
As high as everybody is on Mintz, he is unproven. QC probably thinks he can beat JM out.
He will battle to be part of the three guard rotation. Maybe JB even expands to a four guard rotation.
Do you want Coach to die, or just like a show? He’s going to try that one time in a game and it will get stolen and JB will have a heart attack lol I can’t wait for it...
Copeland is going to be a love hate relationship with JB, which is why I strongly suspect he won't play as a freshman with three good options in front of him:The old man HAS to shift philosophy. The old days of a “6-man rotation and a cloud of dust” are done.
I’ve said it before, if he can’t adjust to the new reality, then we run the risk of morphing into a “portal development program”, one that preps guys who’ll just leave after a year or two.
There’s no reason he can’t get kids some PT and watch them grow into legit players. It’s gonna take a lot more patience on his part, and here’s hoping he can do it. JMHO
Yup.The day of the redshirt is past. Everybody plays, portals, or goes pro if they are any good. We were very fortunate Benny was ok w a small role and returned. I would not count on that happening too often.
we need to find a role for this kid this season so that he stays and stars down the road. QC will need play at least 10 to 15 mpg. Maybe top of the zone defensive specialist at his size while his o game matures.
Especially when the guys playing 35-40 mpg aren’t that good. The old man HAS to shift philosophy. The old days of a “6-man rotation and a cloud of dust” are done.

There seems to be big fight in this dog! I’m confident with the right coaching he’ll come through. He needs guidanceI know I mentioned it in the summer workouts thread about his D but I am very curious to see what leaks out around him once he gets here. Being around such a two way player like Mintz should have good habit benefits to him.
I am absolutely stoked about this coming seasonHeard Cope is in Syracuse. He and Mintz played in a tournament last weekend. 2nd summer session starts next Tuesday so I’d expect the others will be arriving the next few days.
