Who's Mike Yagmin?
Who's Mike Yagmin?
Make him an offer already.Who's Mike Yagmin?
Depends. Is Mike Yegmin a big man?Make him an offer already.
He is a scout known mostly in the Northeast. Mike always has quality video and notes on players.Who's Mike Yagmin?
We don't know that they haven't. If we have, he's smart to keep it quiet so he can enjoy going through the process.Make him an offer already.
Come on guys….Make him an offer already.
Good point. I sense he feels deprived of an opportunity to be recruited to his full potential due to his Dad's affiliation. A public Cuse offer would make it worse. Also, if Red doesn't get the job or Trey otherwise doesn't want to go to Cuse, extending an offer could be bad for Cuse recruiting because other guards might lose interest thinking that the Coach's son will commit and will be playing their position. Also awkward for Cuse if he picks another high major. All parties benefit from keeping it under wraps until minds are made.Could he already have an offer but its being kept quiet so not to scare off other offers? Didn’t Buddy not get more offers because everyone assumed he was going to Cuse? What would be the benefit of socializing Trey’s offer in particular if Cuse was after other guys? Or, what if Trey doesn’t want to go to Cuse? It wouldn’t be a good look if we offered and he didn’t commit. Call me crazy but I see only downside in having an offer publicized tight now. But maybe there isn’t an offer.

Class of '23 guard Trey Autry updates recruitment, upcoming visits | Zagsblog

Trey Autry, the 6-foot-4, 200-pound Class of 2023 shooting guard from Western Reserve Academy (OH), has taken two recent official visits and is planning a couple more going forward.
Autry, the son of Syracuse assistant Red Autry, has visited Rhode Island and George Washington and is hoping to visit Cincinnati and Fordham next month.
As for a timetable on a decision, he said, “As far as committing I’m hoping by October but not sure yet.”
Interesting. Not a peep around whether he is considering SU or vis versa- close to the vest or just not gonna be in the cards?
understand your statement and not trying to be confrontational either. It is possible that he is a mid major level recruit. The same could have been said about Buddy. That turned out well. This is going to come across as controversial, but I honestly don't intend it to be, nor a slam against Trey.
But is it possible that he is a mid-major level prospect? The majority of his offers suggest that might be the case. Maybe he just isn't a Syracuse-caliber recruit, despite the family ties.
Again, not meant as a knock against Trey -- just asking the question / exploring if that's the potential explanation for why he isn't garnering more P5 interest, hasn't gotten an SU offer, etc.
I actually wouldn't. Think of the pressure. JB had built up 50 years of good will and it wasn't enough. Might be better for everyone if Trey went somewhere else.If Red is our new Orange i would expect him to follow his dad here
I would think it depends on his role with the team. I mean, if 1st year HCAA, basically tries to make his son 1st Team ACC, well...I actually wouldn't. Think of the pressure. JB had built up 50 years of good will and it wasn't enough. Might be better for everyone if Trey went somewhere else.

it may be better to offered Trey and have him play and improve for 4 years than getting a 4-5 star player that leaves every other year.
By the way, how real 5 stars did we sign this past class besides Judah whom I believe is a high 4 star?
