As a fan, I didn’t want to go to NYC. Too cold to be sitting in Yankee Stadium. It’s going to be great for the players. I used to live in NYC. Not a great treat for me. I recently read a post about a fan flying in from Florida after driving his Dad’s boat down there. He mentioned flying into La Guardia then renting a car.NYC is a magical, exciting place for Christmas. The players are going to enjoy it.
so true, we never drove a car in NYC, we're originally from the Hudson Valley and took Metro North to Grand Central and then subway to wherever we needed to go. Now we visit from Florida and just fly in and take the subway. As a fan, I didn’t want to go to NYC. Too cold to be sitting in Yankee Stadium. It’s going to be great for the players. He can catch a bus from the airport to the No 7 train, go right into Manhattan take the IRT straight to Yankee stadium. No fooling around with a car
Marlowe is happy because he secured himself a . It’s ok he deserves it and genuinely seems like a great kid and wouldn’t want anyone else as a defensive leader for next years team.Wax looks so happy, I think this is a really awesome bowl for the players. I’m sure there are some warm weather bowls that wouldn’t have half the swag or attractions as the Pinstripe. And it’s not even going to be THAT cold anyway on Thursday.
cant wait to check it out thursday myself
After I saw the 911 Memorial, I was literally speechless for the rest of the day. It had that much of an impact on me.
I knew Coach Arnett’s wife when she lived in San Diego and it’s my impression that wives of young positional coach follows wherever their husband’s career takes them. To some degree being a coach’s wife is like being in the military. Once the family receives orders for the next stop, it’s where the family goes. A nomadic life in most casesShe was very comfortable in Virginia too. Not sure your point. If all of a sudden she got to SU and started promoting SU like crazy and had never done that at their previous schools then yeah, I’d get what you’re saying. But she’s a great marketing person, I’m glad we have her. But she did the same thing at Virginia and she’ll do the same thing the next place they go.
I have not had the opportunity, but I'm very glad they did this. It might not seem like that long ago to some of us who are old enough to remember it actually happening, but our players were either not even born or very young at the time. So I'm glad they could go to hopefully really appreciate what happened that day. After I saw the 911 Memorial, I was literally speechless for the rest of the day. It had that much of an impact on me.
I was like that at the Holocaust museum. Man’s inhumanity seemingly knows no bounds. After I saw the 911 Memorial, I was literally speechless for the rest of the day. It had that much of an impact on me.

And the United Flight 93 memorial in Shanksville, PA. Very moving.I’ve been to 3 camps, a number of museums including Schindler’s factory as they were just finishing it up. Words can’t describe going to any of these places but everyone should.
I made the decision to not use the term Nazi as a pejorative after that. To me, its an insult to the Jewish people to equate anyone today with those horrors.I’ve been to 3 camps, a number of museums including Schindler’s factory as they were just finishing it up. It is used way too liberally nowadays.I made the decision to not use the term Nazi as a pejorative after that. To me, its an insult to the Jewish people to equate anyone today with those horrors.
