Pinstripe Bowl Practice

Me thinks we're wearing the orange jerseys this week...

So just venting here..

Syracuse Football practice was OPEN to the media today (per the game notes). I've seen only one reporter (not a beat writer) tweet a picture from practice.

How is the local media/beat writers not covering this? For all the times they complain about lack of availability to the program, I don't see any Syracuse.com reporters commenting from practice. What are we even doing here?
Their bosses don't want to pay for multiple nights of hotels.

I have the official press packet to go along with it but it is too large to upload (46 pages) if anybody has any ideas?

If you look at the bowl game history the Pinstripe bowl has hosted some very good programs.

Minnesota is the home team, so orange jerseys means color on color. Nice.
What does Minnesota is the home team mean? I don’t understand, do the two conferences alternate who is home every year or something?

I don’t think Dino was lying when he said other ACC coaches were jealous and congratulating him. It’s an awesome bowl, tons of football history connected to NYC, tons to do, tons of swag etc.

The only things people have against it are cold weather (even though the entire east coast is cold right now except for Florida), we’ve been there twice before and it’s considered a middle level bowl.

I’m actually really exited about it.

I believe they do alternate. Last year, Maryland of the Big Ten was the away team and wore white so this year Minnesota is the home team.

I think the home/road designation is just for jersey color and who gets to call the coin flip.

Home team gets the Yankees clubhouse.

Visiting team has to change in a shack on 164th St,
