We had classes on Tuesday back in the 90s. But someone had posted recently that SU now gives students the full week off.

Which means a schedule with 2 home games the last 2 weeks isn't quite the advantage it should be. One sure, but losing students for two?

so a student season ticket package consisted of 3 games this year?? (parents weekend is always a separate ticket).

and 1 was wags? and another was tulane?

oomph, i can see why no students bothered with tickets. the only game that mattered was clemson.

Students have the week off starting Saturday. Most students will be leaving to go home Thursday and Friday. So, yes, the schedule does us no favors this year. I can't even make the last two games. Two of the games I'd like to see most, too.

If they keep the schedule like this, with Pitt and BC at the end, it's going to be like this every other year. It certainly appears that BC will be our closer every year, and that blows.

They'd much rather go for the cash grab and sell the seats to the general public. Happens every year for SU basketball when students are on break. Yet I watch other college games and there always seems to be a student section at those games, even with students on break. :noidea:

Interesting idea. Wonder if they held a "SUNY" contest and give the school with the most students some kind of prize? Would there be enough interest to get 3-4k students in the Dome?

Aside from Clemson i would guess we have had 20-25k actual fans in the seats. I expect about the same the next two weeks.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, the students have the whole week off. This game was included in the season ticket package for students though which helps. I know many students leaving Friday but many others who aren't leaving until Saturday. This might be the one time when having an early start time works to our advantage, at least as far as students are concerned. I know I'll be there, and I'm getting anyone I can to go.

301 & 302 are louder than the student section. We will all be there, so all is well...

At best students make up 10% of a capacity crowd. Them being on break really isn't the driver of attendance.

I hope most people are done with complaining about attendance. It is what it is. Win more and people will show up.
