I'm on Amtrak back to Boston and the feed cut out on my phone in OT, and I have no idea how the game ended. But it seems we lost. From reading the game thread, it sounds like I averted several assaults on my eyes.

No other program in the country would have 4 1/2 seconds left and end up taking a running chuck from half court. Teams in the NCA tournament have scored with less than two seconds left and gotten a better look.
A fitting way for Red’s coaching career to end at home. Giving up a layup on one end and having no clue on offense. And also fitting that JJ played the way he did. Red made many mistakes, but allocating significant responsibilities and resources to JJ absolutely crushed his chances at success.

Did it really matter? How did Indrusaitis get a wide open layup to score the winning basket? The guy killed us. 16 points, 6 rebounds. Almost double his average. I assume Betsey was on him on the last play.

They had 4.3 seconds left so of course George hoisted a half court shot with 2.5 of those seconds remaining.

Back and forth limited scoring.
W 12 seconds left #25 blew past Betsey & Kyle goaltended
W 4 seconds left we inbounded & someone shot from half court w 2 seconds left & missed. Had time for a better shot

I know he’s not a good shooter but I would have preferred the ball in Starlings hands there due to his super fast end to end speed. I think he could have gotten the ball well past half court. Oh well.

To obvious for Red. I assumed they were inbounding to JJ with his speed. I guess they just needed him to pass it in.
