Felt bad for the kids. They played hard. Freeman crashing boards, Kyle diving on the floor etc. in the end it was bad decisions and lack of awareness that did them in again. Coaching is a big part of that.

We knew Red, at best, was inept. But putting JJ in to only inbound the ball was something a coach wouldn’t do coaching Geddes Little League.

Better energy; however, poor decision making and another failure to close out a game and at home. Fortunately, this is soon coming to an end soon! Let’s hope the decision makers, at the university get the AD and new coach right!

There was a small moment late in the game that seemed pretty symbolic of this team to me.

During a time out George was animatedly talking to Donnie and shimmying his shoulders. Appeared that he was either telling Donnie that’s what he should do to a defender, or that he himself should do it.

Donnie, stone faced, snapped a couple words back and George literally looked like he was scolded by a parent and shut down. Shoulders dropped and he sloughed away.

This team was just all sorts of weird the last 2 months.

Individuals with no guiding light. A good coach gets them to play as a team.

Donovan Dent was one of the guys we were in on in the portal last year. He might have been one of the guys that Kline wanted, but Red thought the price was too high.

He makes 3 million dollars. Our NIL according to the DO was a shade under 8.
