SU & Pitt should tell the Big East that they are comfortable fulfilling the 27 month requirement. Then the BE can panic about having to put together a schedule for 14 football teams and 108 basketball teams. Maybe the BE will pay SU and Pitt to leave for 2013.
It may be just my opinion but the big east doesn't really care about football and if they can squeeze more cash out of SU and Pitt they'll let them go. They really couldn't care less if the 2013 football season is a mess and will not feel obligated to let us go to the ACC. Money talks and that's what the basketball members want.

PITT is gone after this season. SU will be too. Can't wait to start playing in the ACC. With a home schedule this year that includes Rutgers, Temple, Youngstown St and Gardner Webb, Steve Pederson should be paying us to show up.
