1987-team was better than Indiana. Huge disappointment we lost.
1996-team had less talent than Kentucky but was in the game until the Sims injury. Disappointing, but not like 1987.
2012-I think we take our chances.
I still say Walter McCarty pushed Reafsnyder in the back to get the rebound on the UK missed free throw with SU down one and rallying in the second half. UK scored on that possession and it killed our momentum. Maybe we "had less talent than Kentucky" top to bottom, but the two best players on the court that day were John Wallace and Todd Burgan. Yes, and Sims getting hurt sucked, too.
