Poll only allowed 4 choices. If Louisville on Nov 13th is your favorite post it in the thread for counting.

Factors you should consider: proximity, uniqueness, side trips of game, date is great, winnability of game, great game day environment, cost to go.

Personally my favorite is @Ohio. Never been to and I haven't seen a game live since Duke (Nov 19)

So no one rates Louisville as their favorite road trip?

We go to Louisville every single year. It gets boring I'm sure.

Not sure if I'm going to Blacksburg, but hoping to. Haven't been since the 1997 game. It was such an intimidating and hostile environment back then, especially at night. They don't have those type of teams now that Beamer is gone.

The home team always had such an incredible advantage every year we played them in the 90s and early 2000s.

Anyone know from past history around when they start announcing TV times for the first 2 games?

I'm guessing that starting week 3 or 4, the game times will get announced in the new normal timeframe of the Monday 12 days prior to the game.

Chip it is the first three weeks that get announced. IIRC it should be by early June. I'm predicting ESPNU for Ohio, ESPN 2 for Ruttie and ACCN for Albany...if we are 2-0 after Ruttie the Liberty game night actually get as good as ESPNU

I'm just hoping the Rutgers game can somehow claw its way to a mid afternoon start. Even if it's ACC Network 4 pm or something like that.

So far VTech is the runaway in voting...we haven't played there since like '04 so I suspect that has something to do with it plus it is a great early/mid season venue

Wes Durham has done so many Cuse games he should just buy a downtown condo.

I'm betting a Nooner or 12:30...two NE schools thing

I love Wes.

Any chance @Ohio gets moved to Thursday night. Selfishly, that would be ideal.

It's been a while but I've been to Ohio U before and they have a really nice campus. Athens is a cool college town too, although it's a bit in the middle of nowhere lol.
I'm staying in Athens...but Parkersburg, WV is much cheaper and only about 35 mins away. I hope for a noon kickoff on Saturday but a Friday night game would be cool too. If it is any later than 12:30pm...I'll probably have to do 2 nights in a motel somewhere in NE Ohio.

If you're coming in from the east, there are some nice white basswoods along Rt. 50. Just in case anybody sees weird silvery trees on the hillsides and wonders what they are.

Words from the Stumpie ;-)

I like the NC State tailgate. Last couple times were fun at least. I think JackBauer44 organized the first one of those I went to
