Division I lacrosse rankings continue to shift in Week 6 as the display of parity continues to be on full display. Northwestern received 23 first-place votes, earning their third-straight and fifth-overall first-place ranking after a dominant 14-9 win over Johns Hopkins this weekend.

The Big Ten takes the top three places. Maryland and undefeated Michigan slid into the second and third slots, respectively, while Boston College dropped to the fourth after its loss to No. 5 Notre Dame in a 15-14 thriller.

Glad the women have a game prior to the UVA game. There could be an emotional let down, so they will have a chance to work through it and hopefully KT will be able to play some of the girls farther done the bench.

To me, Loyola has had a better start to their season than Michigan and they should be ranked higher. Wins over Florida and Hopkins are no joke. Those are good teams. I guess we find out next week how go they are when they come to the dome.
