When you (we) play 2-3 Zone in the modern game, as discussed ad nauseam, it’s not a matter of if players are necessarily “open” or not… but they can ALWAYS catch with 2 feet set in a shooting motion, having someone close out on you as a shooter is different than having someone into you on the catch (man-to-man) that offsets the “comfortability” of catch & shoot… even with a hand up on close out. It’s always comfortable & I hate it
