Exactly.Imagine thinking that question was asked in good faith
That's a Peter Doucy question honestly. Pretty unprofessional.
If I’m trying to objective, I think the first one was also a charge but it could’ve gone either way. Or no call. Point being that it wasn’t an obvious screw job. I think as fans we get caught up in the moment sometimes.so you think the first charge call on Mintz was a good call? Everything that happened after that call changed the game.
I don't think you know what good faith meansImagine thinking that question was asked in good faith
The reporter said something like "This is the second game in a week you've lost by 4 pts, is there a reason you can't close out games?" Just an ahole of a question honestly.
the answer is pretty obvious, youth. But you don’t ask that question to get an answerSay it wasn’t (and I’m not convinced of this)
The appropriate response for a grown man making millions of dollars to coach a basketball team to a long shot NIT berth is to storm out like a diaper baby?

If it was that question? Wouldn’t say a thingI’m sure if one of our players stomped off and refused to answer a question no one would rip them for being part of a babied, entitled generation right?
outside of the out of bounds play I can’t think of another situation where he has actively made mistakes at the end of gamesOur senior guard who many think is HC material someplace has been complicit in some of those meltdowns though.
Yeah, to me it wasn’t “nuts” at all. It’s who we are. We have one consistent rebounder. He was out because he can’t avoid foul trouble. We have a bunch of players who aren’t particularly savvy. We have a PG who is Uber talented but plays out of control far too often.Up 2 with the ball with under a minute left.
Get a rebound on a FT and we probably win.
What happened from there and the rest of the way was just nuts. Couldn’t draw that up in a nightmare.

I don’t think so… if he had the board would’ve been all over himHe did something similar at the end of the UM game I think.
Yes. This depresses me.Yeah, to me it wasn’t “nuts” at all. It’s who we are. We have one consistent rebounder. He was out because he can’t avoid foul trouble. We have a bunch of players who aren’t particularly savvy. We have a PG who is Uber talented but plays out of control far too often.
I was kind of expecting us to lose because we’re just not wired to win. It wasnt fluky in my opinion, it was the culmination of all our deficiencies. And it’s happened a bunch of times this season.
You can definitely argue the first one was a bad call. But it was bang bang. I thought they were trying to get those “jump in front of a guy and touch your 2 feet down to draw the charge” call out of the game, but I’ll admit to not knowing how that’s supposed to be called in 2023.If I’m trying to objective, I think the first one was also a charge but it could’ve gone either way. Or no call. Point being that it wasn’t an obvious screw job. I think as fans we get caught up in the moment sometimes.
We have 0 quad 1 wins and 1 quad 2 wins and bad losses, how is this a tournament caliber team?Theres no question were a tournament caliber team. 7-10 seeds have gone to the final four. Wish the refs would put in a good word for another 32 teams in the tournament. That would be the best call they could make.
It's tough having 5-7 of these tournament game losses in jan-march. Then thinking is this our last chance to make the tournament after each one. Meanwhile, you got midmajors with 6 5th year players. Sucks like a mesquito.
They ran that play all game. Before we heap too much praise on Bell, Edwards fouled out because Bell's man ran right past him to the basket and Bacot passed him the ball and Edwards had to foul him. Terrible defense.
