If Quincy had gone out on the shooter, we lose because Clark would have tossed it to Huff for the dunk. He was in a tough position there. Had to bail on someone. I thought Marek came up too high.

One of these days, we'll figure out how defend last second threes. It seems like teams are shooting about 80% on those.

Once the defense gets unbalanced a little bit, a good passing team will find the open shooter. Preventing interior passes and encouraging threes early in the shot clock is best part of the zone. 1-on-1 shooters or 1-on-0 shooters are going to hit a good percentage of those threes late in the clock on designed plays.

Buddy has to collapse there. Guerreri helps low instead of cycling up to offset Buddy moving middle.

1- why was griffin in on defense? That was confusing. Not that it affected the play but braswells height I would have thought would have been the one in.

2- kadary left his feet and Clark was able to then penetrate which collapsed the D. I would have loved for that kid to settle for that deep shot and he wouldn’t have got penetration if kadary stayed on his feet.

yeah watched it again. The play was absolutely on Kadary jumping out on his guy.

Just brutal. We refused to make Clarke beat us with the shot. Every time he got in the lane he wanted to pass. Our guys just played that last possession stupidly.

We left it out there. We deserve to be in the tourney. No one will want to face us. No one.

And, honestly, kudos to Buddy for elevating his game to All ACC level as of late. Honestly, he's blown the doors off my expectations for what he could ascend to.

They overloaded the paint and one side. We prevented Murphy, Hauser and Huff from an open look. Beekman is their worst shooter. You have to roll that dice.

As someone else mentioned, Kadary let Clark go right by him causing Guerrier to come inside, leaving Beekman wide open.

What a shame. Worst shooter on the court beats us. How can the defense leave a shooter that wide open?

I’d say they ran this play to perfection, but can’t see them using it with their worst shooter taking that shot. Such a painful end.
