Yup. Stuff like that stands out when you lose by 1 shot. Tough one. We were right there.

Glad we’ve gelled and are playing well enough to beat just about anybody on any given day. They better put us in.

Eh they all collapsed too much and were lost in limbo land. Buddy/Q weren't even close. It all started with Kadary letting Clarke into the lane though. Brutal way to lose

1- why was griffin in on defense? That was confusing. Not that it affected the play but braswells height I would have thought would have been the one in.

2- kadary left his feet and Clark was able to then penetrate which collapsed the D. I would have loved for that kid to settle for that deep shot and he wouldn’t have got penetration if kadary stayed on his feet.

I wonder if we put edwards in at the 5 and take griffin out Quincy doesn’t need to commit so deep in and can guard him

And again I just have to ask, why not press a little at the ten min mark? It clearly causes some issues. Even if you do it for one possession and force an early timeout. It works.

Our style is reactive... defensively, substitutions, etc.

I agree with you, but unless we're down 15+, we don't press that early in the 2nd half.

We played one of our best games. We had some poor possessions in the second half and Quincy had the ball too much. He will never be described as a playmaker.

He killed us today. He played weak and timid IMO outside of one stretch where he drove on Hauser. And that back door pass to Bras’s defender will give me nightmares

UVA made every big shot they needed to. If they don’t call those fouls on Beekman to get Buddy to the line it’s hard to convince me we’d score in both of those possessions

Most importantly we have no really bad losses besides the one blip in Pitt at home. The committee has absolutely looked at the eye test. This UVA game where they had to win it vs we lost it should matter.

This sucks and my weekend is ruined but it’s hard to be too negative. I did not think this team had any heart two weeks ago and they proved me wrong. We’re playing like a legit top 25 team right now.

Just hope we get in on Sunday because we are capable of going on a run
