We have until next August to figure it out.

I think it's tougher to get quality DB's who are good in man coverage.

Look what happened when Cicso and Trill got hurt last year, and Williams missed time this year.

I think it's tougher to get quality DB's who are good in man coverage.

Look what happened when Cicso and Trill got hurt last year, and Williams missed time this year.

Cole is a huge loss. So is the LB the others not so much. hopefully The Dino can land a few kids from the portal as we need grown cats not kittys

Speaking of roster management, why in the world do we have 25 DBs? Even if a few are walk-ons, I would much rather have those kind of numbers on the lines or at linebacker, where we are never deep enough.

Because there are left and right cornerbacks, plus strong safety and free safety, and the nickel back or rover spot. If you’re 3 deep at each position you’re talking 15 kids. Only 11 of those kids in the chart are scholarship players plus the 4 commitments. My math says we’re right we’re we need to be. (I do also expect to still lose Coley to the portal.)

I think the cornerback situation is a little dire to. Losing Cole was a nut shot.

Even by your count, and with 5 of the as walk-ons, that's still 20 on scholarship for 5 positions - 4 deep rather than 3 deep.

If I were managing the roster, I would rather take the flyer and use those extra 5 scholarships on the lines, because getting a DB on the field doesn't take nearly as much player development time as it does on the lines.
