I sadly don’t know. JB always had the Hardwood Club Dinner (usually held before the Conference tournament I think) and Coaches vs Cancer or Boeheim Foundation post season event. There was also a Syracuse University preseason Ms Orange Fan (women fans) Luncheon/Brunch for the Make-A-Wish charity with the SU team and coaches too. All were great events.

I went to the Hardwood a few times during the early 2010’s when we were rolling. I have not heard anything regarding it since Red took over. The PR surrounding the program needs to improve. Red seems to have adopted a Dino like way of doing things.

This one surprised me. Cuffe expressed that he wants to stay here, so I assume that he was given the talk that he is not in the plans for next season. Seems like a good kid - wish him the best. St. John’s is a great destination for him being that he is from NYC, and a great coach like Pitino can figure out how to get the most out of him. For our program, he really shouldn’t be hard to replace so I hope we don’t muff it up.

For whatever reason, a lot of younger kids use the different color emojis. I wouldn't look too deep into like that.

Yeah, after I replied, I had the thought maybe you were asking about the more classic team pics where there’s a row of players sitting and then another row of players/coaches standing behind them.

Haven’t seen those in awhile. I usually look for the posters. The pic I posted was just something I found in a Google search so I assume that was this year’s poster.

i have heard NIL will not be an issue this year. If that is truly the case, then Donnie/JJ should be our 3rd and 4th highest NIL players.

JJ coming back means we will be average again. He will get 30+ minutes and be a focal point of the team. A big mistake, he should be a 4th or 5th option on a good team.

JJ back is good IF we have a PG who is clearly better than JJ, has the ball at the end of games instead of JJ - AND is good from 3.

Did we complete forget about the 3? We are going to be replacing a combo of Bell/Taylor with something better next year. Having talent at the 1 and 3 will make a big difference with what JJ or Kiyan do at the 2.

Yeah, we have to have a 3 who can make a 3. Donnie is not that guy, even if he is back next year. I want an Elijah Hughes type.

Yep, I want a true SF that is a 3 point shooter. Anything we get from Donnie there will be a plus. And, Sadiq can sub in at either forward position, even if we lose a 3 point threat. If he comes in for Donnie, he can be a defensive demon and rebounder. If he subs in for the 3 and plays along with Donnie, he can be that same defensive demon and rebounder and allow Donnie to float to the 3 a bit. But, the two of them together should control the boards along with the right center while that transfer 3 gets a blow. Then that 3 comes in for Donnie and pushes Sadiq to the 4. That starts to sound like a rotation.
