Pregame Video

This is very low on the scale of important issues and I may be nitpicking, but having seen the pregame video twice now I think it is missing something. While I think the video is a great idea and it's pretty well done I wish they would have had vintage clips complete with actual play by play showing the SU elite in action. Except for Jim Brown it's hard for the casual fan to recognize any of the other guys in the video without their uniforms on. They also could have shown Heisman award footage, NC celebrations, etc. Any one else have thoughts on the video?

Didn't the old video have some of those vintage plays? I'm thinking of the Michael Owens 2 pt conversion against WVU, Rob Moore's opening TD against PSU, McNabb's throwback to Brominski, Nunes running around for -30 yards into the endzone and getting an intentional grounding (j/k)... I get goosebumps whenever I think of any of those plays.

Yes... But we need more fans. Clearly we die hards cant fill the dome up by ourselves.

It's not just about the diehards -- I guarantee you if you polled all 25,000 or so actual fans that were at the NW game 80% couldn't name all those players. Also, I was sitting by some USC fans at Metlife and when the video played they only recognized Jim Brown. The video is a perfect time to brag about the tradition of SU that a lot of people don't know about...it would work great if everyone at the game understood who and what the video was talking about.

I don't think it's nitpicking. I wish it were a little more tradition-y, too. My zero SU experience friend, that I went with, also only picked out Jim Brown. And I think that was after I informed him that Jim Brown went to SU "wow, really?"

They had to shorten it to make sure the team didn't run out in the middle of it while the fans were confused. What am I supposed to be watching again?
