Makes sense now why they're starting the lefty QB. If they go to the bullpen for the righty, that could be a blindside disaster.

Both RBs are true freshmen as well.

Our D really needs to have a strong game against this dysfunctional offense.

I never said it will happen again. Just pointing out that it’s not a foregone conclusion that our DE will dominate a freshmen Tackle. The Maryland game is a recent example.

I've been really surprised to see what seems to be regression from Riley and Johnson this year. These guys are burners and had a handful of homerun catches last year. They've been almost non-existent this year for some reason.

Buckle up, every single one of these games can go in any direction. I have no expectations for any game at all, other than the obvious, I would like to win. But as far as trying to predict the outcome, strengths/weaknesses for any game - it's a crapshoot that I think will be the theme for the remaining games. I still think we get 6,7 wins pre-bowl game. Just have zero idea which games will be the wins.

I'm flipping a coin on all of them. But BC, in the Dome, with a backup QB, and the #118 defense in the country giving up 476 yards per game (against a schedule of VT, Richmond, Kansas, Rutgers, Louisville, Wake)??

Yeah, I'll say it now, that should be a win. With the only caveat being if we're also playing with a backup QB for some unfortunate reason.

Wasn't Shafer's last game the one against BC that combined the teams passed for less than a 100 yards and backups were playing all over the place?

I just listened to Dave Doeren’s pre-SU presser & now have a reason to actually dislike NC State. I forgot how unusually passionate about winning Dino is but when I saw Doeren in action I remembered really quickly

You're right that it was said before the MD game and it could happen again. I think the smart money would be on our senior 1-2nd round of the NFL guy in most matchups with freshman most of the time.

Doeren and Dino are polar opposites. As a fan, I prefer the latter over the former, but it doesn’t equate to a W or L. Players make the difference and they will tomorrow night. That’s not saying I’m predicting a Pack victory.
