Preseason Camp Thread

WRs who can make plays make the biggest impact IMHO. It's pretty demoralizing to have plays where oline holds up, QB puts a pass in the right area and WR doesn't make the play. I say this as a former WR. Every ball that gets to you you have to make yours. We've had some stud WRs make some very inept offenses put up some points in the past.

Flip side, it's mentally draining to work solid releases and run crisp routes repeatedly and not have a catchable ball come your way. Think we've seen that transpire in recent years and some WRs lose their heads and/or get the yips in the past as result. WR position is a grind when not knowing if or when a catchable ball will finally make it your way and the more rare that is the more pressure on that opportunity.
And whatever happened to the WRs who used to layout to make the catch? Back in Schwedes, Moore, Kane years you would see guys go 100% to get that ball. Just doesn't seem to happen anymore.

And doing it on the old Dome turf, which was like laying out to make a catch in the parking lot.

Lil Joe did that once, tailgating at the kickoff classic. But my car got called for Ronnie Lott targeting. He made it out of concussion protocol in time for Kevin Johnson's KO return.

That would be the only play I really remember from that game. That was a week or two after I couldn't remember the last 4-5 races of Travers day. Had no idea who won day after. Good times

As my dad use to say "You're on a hell of run bud"

Having that former BYU WR as an analyst who knows what Anae and Beck want I think will help. Maybe not Game 1 but over the season having a former player to connect and distill info will be beneficial.

Hatcher and Gadsden starting to make plays in these clips daily.

Hatcher 1v1 with Deuce says it all.
Loving this. From the limited clips that we see, Isaiah Johnson and Bralyn Oliver seem to be struggling some. A name I haven't heard in a Long time is Kendall Long.

He's an academic senior from Skaneateles. Assuming its just reps, but hey. It's fun if there's more to it!
and a really good kid. He played with my nephew who is now playing for MIT
