Very good contested catch guy. I hope that translates in the game.Gadsden’s going to remind some people of Custis imo
The WRs. Jones is the wildcard right now. Hard group to call.
Does Jones bump Jackson? I'm guessing Hatcher is in this top group and I think bumps Brown/Queeley. I also think Alford is on the outside looking in.
My top 6 are Jones, Gadsen, Jackson, Hatcher, Cooper and Adams. (just guessing.)

Yup. None of these guys have separated themselves. The coaches don’t even know who will emerge. We as fans are just guessing based on small clips of 1v1’s and reports from writers who have seen about 8% of practice footage.I still like Alford but admittedly he hasn’t done enough to separate himself as just a guy on the field. Other than say the big play against VT. Overall the WR corp has always been the most head scratching group for years. Feels like when the real games start, players that seem to be ready for a break out year based on practices end up largely disappearing.
Then I guess we just go with the ones that like to block and are the best at it, if all other things are equalYup. None of these guys have separated themselves. I hope it's been coaching, and we see an improvementI still like Alford but admittedly he hasn’t done enough to separate himself as just a guy on the field. Other than say the big play against VT. There has seemingly been a fair amount of praise for Roon during camp. It will be fun to watch our LBing room this season.I think the LBs set up like this: I'm curious to hear how the Florida kid's camp has been.

This always feels like a which came first the chicken or the egg.
Oline can’t pass block.
Don’t have a QB that can throw
Don’t have wide receivers who make plays
Which came first? IDK. But I have faith in the new coaches.
Being able to go up and get some balls that are not perfectly thrown would be a big advantage this season.
I understand lack of time to throw and WRs not getting open or making plays to help the QB, but Shrader's inability to make even simple throws seems independent of those issues. This always feels like a which came first the chicken or the egg.

Coaches and the players. Still shots of impressive athleticism don't tell the whole story. There are stud athletes that don't pan out and then there are the Hunter Renfros that somehow become stars. Hopefully, our athletic guys have developed the skills to take advantage of that athleticism. I'm excited to see if anyone emerges.Umari has a serious vertical. We have some seriously athletically gifted WRs, on the coaches to make it happen now.
We saw all of it last year: turf burners, guys not get open, open guys drop balls that hit them in the hands/chest.I understand lack of time to throw and WRs not getting open or making plays to help the QB, but Shrader's inability to make even simple throws seems independent of those issues.
Hopefully that has improved, but muscle memory is hard to overcome.
