Even if UVA returned all their players from the title team it's still no excuse to look the way we did last night. We're freaking Syracuse basketball. We should be able to compete with every single team in the country and not look pathetic.

No way to know, without running parallel timelines... There is only The Eye Test, and everyone will have a different perception. I just look at how we get higher-ranked recruits than everyone except NC, Duke, and prolly Louisville in our conference, and still finish in the middle of the larger pack; and how too many of our players just can't do solid, simple, foundational things, too often, whether it's an individual skill thing, or a team thing.
