How can you say that without seeing them take one snap? To take a play from your playbook you don't really know anything about them and haven't seen them play.

Because they don't have a laundry list of returning stars like they have seemingly forever. Allen Robinson and ?. ZZ isn't Kijana Carter or Curtis Enis. Silas Redd was next in line to be a great PSU rb and he left for the left coast.

I'm in Penn State country, there is no shortage of preseason publications or Penn State fans to discuss this years team with. Aside from the serious homers, most are aware that this years squad isn't up to what they'd expect it to be. Losing scholies and bad press can do that.

If Penn State is not getting paid then why leave the friendly confines of happy Valley where you would gate 90k+? Also, why will Penn State be the defacto home team and the game be property of the B1G? Seems to be a split gate set up with both teams receiving extra gaurenteed cash. When Syracuse signed on we were in the Big East making barely any money. Penn State wasn't in that position and wouldn't take this game if it wasn't financially adventageous for them to do so.
