I realize going with Drew was doing right by him to give him the opportunity but looking at what we face in our first 3 acc games it is really frustrating we didnt run with Hunt and get at least one of those wins and very possibly both. NW is really good but still beatable even at their place. Clemson is a huge game. Nc st and tech are both tough tough road games. Tech looked good today and their QB is impressive and they run that scheme thats hard to stop.

Hunt doesn't play on defense so the NW game wouldn't have mattered. If we scored 50 they wouldve scored 70.

this is true- but we maybe could have struck early before they got into a flow on offense. not saying we win .. but the opportunity is there more with Hunt than how we executed with Drew.

I'm confident we beat psu. I agree with zoo.. Doesn't matter who played qb vs NW, IMO. Couldn't stop them.

The biggest problem against Northwestern, was our offense was horrible, and put the defense in impossible positions. A good offense allows the defense to build confidence, and a win the first game with Hunt would have made a difference, maybe not a win, but a much better game.

A lot of people are rightfully saying that Tulane's poor special teams play contributed to points for us. With the same thought process you can look at Allen's turnovers as points for NW and loss of points for us.
I'm still wondering what IF.
If Hunt plays well against some strong D's coming up, I think we will all wish we had both games to do over with Hunt as QB.

Four INTs allowed NW to score.

The fact that both their qb's were 11-12 passing at halftime allowed them to score. Allens picks were painful but didn't result in excepionally short fields.

I agree with IO we weren't beating Northwestern even with Hunt as QB. That team exposed our weakness on defense which is covering WRs and tackling. I didn't see us winning that game from the preseason. However, with how pathetic our offense was against Penn State I think Hunt wins that game. We had good field position the entire first half against Penn State and only scored 3 points. I think with Hunt we are up atleast a TD at halftime and while Robinson helps the Penn State offense I think with the True Freshman QB we beat Penn State. I think we can go 4-4 atleast in the ACC and get to a bowl game this year.
In order of difficulty our remaining games are 1.@Florida State 2.@Georgia Tech 3. Clemson 4.@Maryland 5. @NC State 6. Pittsburgh 7. Boston College 8. Wake Forest.

BTW - Maine's defense did a pretty good job with them yesterday. Northwestern would have lost if not for two defensive touchdowns.
