Does anybody know any good ones, trying to play the area before I hit game fri. Thx!
this looks cool! what lake is that it overlooks, some good views!Vesper Hills Golf Coarse. It's in the Tully area
this was one I was targeting... cant believe theres no traps on these courses!I like Elm Tree on Route 13.
the course I play on is Willowbrook Golf Course its pretty easy. 3 par 5's,not a ton of water hazards, not terrible long from whites its around 6000 yards . 1st hole is a 300 yard driveable par 4 . The last hole is the hardest on the course 440 yard dogleg right par 4 with treelined right said of hole. its pretty cheap $25 for 18 and a cart and you will be able to get the round in much quicker than elmtreeDoes anybody know any good ones, trying to play the area before I hit game fri. eltree is a must for tee times weekdays or weekendsreally depends on how simple/easy you want the course to be. how much of a challenge do you want and when do you want to play?
elm tree is pretty easy, if you drive pretty well it has 4-5 driveable par 4's, has some nice elevation changes to make a few shots tricky the first time you play it.
walden oaks is a little more of a challenge. some nice holes, also has some big elevation changes. not as many driveable holes
there is also willow brook which is probably a slight step down from the other 2.
elm tree gets a decent amount of play but you might want to look into tee times at both places being on a friday. The courses around Ithaca have been empty the last week which is too bad considering the weather has been so good.
conklin GC in binghamton is very niceDoes anybody know any good ones, trying to play the area before I hit game fri. Thx!
Macadooo - went with vesper hills, really pretty! It was so windy though it felt like I was playing in Ireland. back nine has some real pretty holes, the loft is a nice spot too for beers afterwards! Thx for the recommendation.Vesper Hills Golf Coarse. It's in the Tully area
