Just bad memories last time around #RIPPaulPasqualoni
It was a Sunday opener on national TV.That was horrifying.
Amazing that we could win a share of the BE title, blow out BC away and play Florida State to the wire, but get hammered by 40-50 points by Purdue and Georgia Tech. Classic Coach P era stuff.
Perfect series. They won’t have Brohm by that time. If he is good he will be at a better job.
Purdue is a team we should expect atleast a split with and a chance to sweep.
I am sure they are. Except Babers is 57 and Brohm is 47.I bet they are saying the same thing about babers/us.
Purdue won't put butts in the seats, but I can't think of anyone weaker who'd draw better, I can think of a lot of worse options, and it's an OK roadtrip.
Bad Joe Fields flashbacks, though.
Here is what happened.I remember that 04 game so vividly. Labor day weekend, ABC national game, some excitement after a 6-6 year and blowing out ND at the Dome. Then kickoff happened, ABC kept showing that stupid train and drum, my dad kept turning the channel when the blow out was on saying we were done watching but then would immediately flip back to see another Purdue score and that was all she wrote for coach P.
I also remember my dad saying he was gonna be shocked if P made it all season that year.
The thing I do not remember is why that was a 1 game deal just at Purdue. I know we did that at Mizzou a in 2012 but Syracuse was still a decent to pretty good football name in 2004 so I have no idea why would do a one game road series.
Yeah, we're not really recruiting Chicago at this point. It would be better if we were.Just wish this would be in a state we recruit more heavily
Maybe itll cause an uptick. Lot of talent in that areA.Yeah, we're not really recruiting Chicago at this point. It would be better if we were.

Joe Fields started the opener. We went 3 and out. Kyle Orton drove them down and the rout was on.
Embrassing performance.

Well Rutgers in weaker and is closer, so they would probably draw more. But, already have a home and home with them, right?
