I think the thinking is there's a scenario where Angeli isn't healthy enough to count, so if we say we need 2 QBs, we really need 3 on the roster we feel comfortable giving snaps to.

The verbiage I saw online is that he "signed" versus using the word committed. Has Cuse football is in his bio on Instagram. You never know these days until the player is on campus.

I think classes started today. So once these guys start they are officially locked in for at least the next year in most cases.

Yeah I think 20th is deadline as in the last possible day to start but most should start today if it is indeed the 1st day.

Every X post about his commitment to SU that he has reposted says he has signed.

First day of classes was 1/12. Last day to enroll is 1/20.

I hope he works out but the 19 TD to 8 int is a concern. Nixon offense only works if qbs can read the field quickly and get the ball out fast with accuracy. Also concerned when Fran talked about having backup systems this year. Two systems mean no system. I am always hoping the team excels but as we learned this year if you do not have the right qb the season is over. Nixon did not show over 8 games he could make adjustments to his personnel.

He only threw 2 in the bowl game .. not sure where people are getting this idea. His 8 INTs came across 4 games with the most being 3 in one game during the regular season. Now with that being said he was not originally the starter as that was Dexter Williams who signed with Indiana in 2022 and has since bounced from IU to Georgia Southern to Kennesaw State only to be replaced by Odom.

Odom started at Wofford and moved to Kennesaw State and now Cuse. He made a tremendous jump between Wofford and KSU in terms of productivity and his QB rating reflects that. He also stepped up in competition and continues to improve which I think is a tremendous sign.
