I wish David good luck wherever he ends up. My understanding is that something happened to his arm not long after he got here and he never recovered from it. Just could not throw the ball accurately.

Hope he can find a good fit somewhere.

Im actually relieved to hear something caused his accuracy issues. I couldn't believe some of the things I was hearing. It makes sense now. Hope he recovers well.

Yup. This video is all i think of when I hear David Summers as that is all we saw of him. He clearly hurt his arm and could not get anything on the ball. Everything was short. Feel bad for him. That's no bueno.

With how secretive the information was around his status, I always thought it was injury related. So sounds that way now.

Watch his junior year highlights - that is not the same QB. Granted it's a highlight reel, but he was leading receivers on that film even on deep balls.

His completion % in high school went from mid 60's his jr year to mid 50's his sr year as well...so maybe it happened before he even got here or at least the early stages of whatever his physical issue is.
