What can you do? Even coming off of injury, people want to start.

Start by changing these portal rules.

It works the other way too. Kids aren’t going to want to wait their turn at Oklahoma State or Miami or Arkansas. When you have an opening, hopefully you can pluck someone from the portal and slot them right in.

And what programs would that be? He'd have to learn the playbook and has never played at this level. This isn't a Devito situation where he was recruited to start. He's going to have to earn it wherever he goes.

I'm guessing Lamson was told he's QB2 behind Shrader, and he doesn't want to sit another year.

He is a west coast kid who when 2i spoke with him love Syracuse. Maybe he was told Carlos was number 2 maybe he was offered solid NIL to come and back up someplace else. He is a loss for sure.
