Because you always bring in everyone with any interest and interview them. Not everyone who visits walks away with an offer. It's not just about talent, it's also if you think they fit the culture.

Collins does indeed sound like the perfect fit in terms of what Bnoro is saying. Strange as it sounds calling Salter and Colandrea backup plans, perhaps that is what they are. There has been a lot of smoke with Collins from day 1

I don't know I wouldn't do it if I was him (Fran) but I am just going by what Bnoro has hinted. If that is the case and that is what Fran is looking for then Collins would check every box.

Fran said he wanted players who could play at least two (maybe three?) years. The exception he provided was for potential NFL draft pick level athletes. Maybe that’s what he thinks of the Liberty kid

Mateer is very good but if he hits the portal as has been expected, he will likely follow his OC, and some big NIL, to Oklahoma

What else could it mean? Other QBs are committing on their visits? If he has left without a commitment and takes other visits it could only mean someone wasn't sold right? Guess we will see if he takes other visits?

It could mean he's keeping things close to the vest. It could mean that negotiations are taking place. It could mean that he wants to see what's available at other schools. It could mean that he's taking his time to make sure that he makes the right decision for himself. Those are just off the top of my head. I guess that's what else it could mean.

Right if someone wants to keep their options open etc then they arent sold like I said. I didn't say anything was wrong with that. I merely stated that one side or the other must not be sold yet. If he still wants to shop around then he didn't find exactly what he was looking for here and is still looking hence he wasn't sold. And again nothing wrong with that. Other QBs are going into situation and both sides are sold and are committing on the spot.

It could mean that ‘Cuse is still waiting on NCAA Approval for Kyle to be granted a extra year of eligibility and he is waiting to see whats up
