Class of 2023 QB Rickie Collins (LA) TRANSFERRING TO SYRACUSE (12/20/24)

He's been sitting behind Jayden Daniels and Garrett Nussmeier the past two years. It's go time for Rickie. Let's see the competition between him and Jakhari.

Rickie was considered a top 250 prospect in the class of 2023.

Strong arm, excellent athlete. Fundamentals still needed refinement coming out of HS but he has had 2 years in the QB room at LSU, including one with the future Heisman trophy winner.

Kyle McCord played with some great QBs at OSU but even he did not play with a future Heisman winner.

Has only thrown 7 passes in his college career but has completed all of them. Let's hope he can keep that completion percentage there for a while.



Let's just hope this actually happens. In this day and age, until a player is on campus and has attended a class, things can change quickly.

I don't know him. Never met him. But people that I know and think highly of, think he is a great guy and a great reporter. Against odds growing up, fought his way and has made something of himself.
