Two big time portal additions today. We got better today for sure. Just need a corner than can start right away, a couple o-lineman that can make the 2 deep and a receiver. Receiver is more of a luxury but if we add Cook. I’d be happy with that

Gotta imagine Fran had a convo with Collins. I think Fran definitely made a misstep by announcing Collins as the starter in Spring. But I’m all for QB competition. Neither is a proven commodity. But it’s nice to have 2-3 QBs on the roster that can potentially start at this level. Let’s hope we hold onto them until the portal closes on Saturday

It’s natural to compare the next QB to the last but it’s not fair considering Kyle McCord was /is as good as it gets.
Angeli and Collins won’t be McCord so let’s let them be themselves and hope they crush it too.

Agree 100%! That is equivalent to what my original post stated.
It started out as a simple statement and went somewhere never intended.
I don't want them to be McCörd but I hope that I am allowed to hope that they have a similar effect on the team. That is all.
I was just caught off guard when i was told that my hope would absolutely not happen. Thats just weird.

Lack of QB1 openings at good P4 programs. Solid NIL from Syracuse, with the chance of competing for the starting job. If he is the backup he is making good money to be the backup for a year and then he can reassess.
