Let's hope the SU staff did a better evaluation of Zaid lot than they did for Carney!
Not sure what still to think about Carney. He had a number of P4 offers. Time will tell once he transfers. If he goes to another P4 program and blows up I expect full melt down from the board if not there will be a lot of see I told you so. Again time will tell.

I think he'll land at a G5 that has an offense that is a better overall fit for his skill set.

And just what is Carney's skill set, really? Inquiring minds want to know, for whatever it's worth anymore.
Mobile QB, accurate in short range - limited long range arm strength seems to be the tape. He tends to float balls long which works against inferior talent.

Why are we talking about Carney on the Lott thread? I had to scroll back a few entries when I read "weak arm" lol...phew

Because we’re talking about QB evaluation and Carney was a big miss if he wasn’t a fit for the offense.

With Lott coming in and other "underclassmen" already there(if they stay),
we need a QB coach...BADLY!!!!!
Angeli likely hits the road after this upcoming season.

Nah, they canned the OL coach. Apparently that's the only issue.
