Question for the Millhouse type when your up 15 points

should you go for 2 and try to make it a 3 possession game. ND just scored to go up 23-7 but I always think when your up 15 teams should be more aggressive and try to go up 3 scores. I get being up 16 means they have to convert two 2-pt conversions to tie but still the benefit of being up 3 scores should outweigh only forcing that team to convert one 2-pt conversion to tie.

I would kick the 1 every time and go up 16. Especially if your defense is great, good, or just average.

If you have a piss poor defense then yes maybe be aggressive as you don't have faith they can stop 2 pt tries. Depends on your team and the time left in the game. For ND's team and this situation, I got no problem with kicking the 1

Same when you score a TD to make it a 7 point game. Go for 2 to make it 9, worst case it's 7.

But these are football coaches we're talking about so they are incapable of making such decisions.
