From what I have read (not 100% sure, but what I've read) his clock wouldn't reset. You get 10 years on the ballot, don't necessarily need to be consecutive.

The way i understand it; I think? But maybe once you get knocked off, there's no way to get back on. His only hope I think is with the veterans committee or whatever they call it now
